A professional learning day for Principals and lead teachers to explore, design and lead the next steps in AI-enabled teaching and learning.
Artificial intelligence is already changing how students learn, create, access support, complete assessment and imagine their futures. For Principals, the challenge is not to have all the answers, but to lead this work with purpose, clarity and confidence.
Leading Teaching and Learning in an AI Disrupted World is designed for NSW secondary Principals and the lead teachers who will help shape AI-enabled practice in their schools. Through keynote presentations from education and industry experts, an interactive panel discussion, insights from experienced Principal leaders, and practical school-based workshops, participants will explore what AI means for teaching, learning, student engagement, assessment, equity, teacher practice, and student agency.
The day will focus on opportunity, confidence, and practical leadership. Principals and their teams will consider how AI can strengthen teacher practice, deepen student learning, support inclusion and open new possibilities for public education, while keeping professional judgement, human connection, and equity at the centre.
Participants will leave with clearer direction, practical next steps for their own school context, and the beginnings of a school-based AI policy and procedure position to support thoughtful, ethical, and effective AI-enabled teaching and learning for the future.
