NSW Secondary Principals' Council Annual Conference 2026
Warami. Western Sydney Secondary Principals’ Council represents 57 schools across a diverse region extending from the city of Parramatta through the Cumberland Plains to the beautiful World Heritage area within the Blue Mountains on the lands of the Dharug and Gundungurra. We warmly invite all New South Wales Secondary Principal Council members to join us at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney for the 2026 NSW SPC Annual Conference: Powerful Voices: Their Present, Our Future.
Our purpose is clear and resolute: to lead together with a commitment to promoting and advocating for equity and excellence within government secondary education. We strive to make a positive difference for every student, both within our schools and the broader community, by addressing their complex engagement, educational, and wellbeing needs. Our work will be grounded in a spirit of connection and collaboration—we support one another, share expertise, and lead collegially to foster opportunities for improvement and innovation across our schools. Together, we will uphold values that strengthen our service and practice, including collective efficacy, courage in speaking truth to power, and unwavering dedication to diversity, inclusion, social justice, and high expectations for all students.
We believe that there can be no excellence without equity, and that our professional integrity demands we advocate with conscience and dignity for the rights and opportunities of every student within our schools. Our voice represents the unique needs and aspirations of our communities, championing policies and practices that empower students to take agency over their futures and ensuring that the complex work of secondary education professionals is recognised, valued, and supported. At the heart of our leadership is a commitment to socially just and ethical decision-making, grounded in trust and respect for the vibrant communities we serve. We know that the people within our schools make a profound and lasting difference, providing the foundation for student growth, achievement, and meaningful transitions to life, work, and active citizenship. Together, as a collective leadership body, we embrace this responsibility with courage and conviction.
We look forward with great anticipation to coming together as a united community of leaders, educators, and advocates—ready to learn, challenge, and inspire one another at the 2026 NSW SPC Annual Conference, Powerful Voices: Their Present, Our Future. Together, we will harness our shared knowledge, diverse experiences, and unwavering commitment to shape a future where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Let us embrace this moment knowing that through collaboration and courageous leadership, our powerful voices will drive transformation and create lasting impact for generations to come.
